CCFMG is actively involved in helping keep the people of Central California healthy and well educated about their health. One example of this commitment is in our Home Outreach Parental Evaluation (HOPE) visits, which provide 8-10 follow-up exams per pregnancy, in the comfort of the patients’ own homes. The initial pregnancy evaluation, physical exam and laboratory studies are performed at the UMC Women’s Health Center. Then the Home Prenatal Care visits provide follow-up evaluation and instructions from CCFMG faculty, residents, students and/or midwives.
